PM Imran Khan has guided for all authority commitment to be held in Urdu, with a mean to give due regard to the public language and advance something similar, as per a new notice. In September 2015, the Supreme Court of Pakistan requested receiving Urdu as the authority language at all government offices.

A three-part seat of the peak court headed by then Chief Justice Jawwad S Khawaja reported its judgment over the petitions looking to embrace Urdu as the authority language. Requiring an immediate execution of Article 251, the top court had given nine rules for making Urdu the authority language.
As indicated by Article 251, the public language of Pakistan is Urdu and game plans will be made for it being utilized for official and different purposes inside a long time from the initiating day.
