Taliban, who caught the Afghan line district of Spin Boldak early this month, on Tuesday forced new tax and began gathering taxes on merchandise coming into Afghanistan or going to Pakistan, a day after Pakistan resumed the boundary for trade exercises after a suspension of more than about fourteen days in light of the fighting among Taliban and Afghan security troops.
The line was fixed by Pakistan after hefty fighting in Spin Boldak and Wesh areas of Afghanistan among Taliban and Afghan government powers. Pakistan returned its boundary with Afghanistan subsequent to counseling Taliban authorities who are currently running the everyday issues of areas under their influence.
Government authorities mentioning obscurity said that the Taliban were currently gathering taxes from trucks and holders entering Afghanistan or going to Pakistan. He said that Pakistani authorities were additionally gathering taxes as per the levy fixed by the Federal Board of Revenue.
