The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Friday proposed an increment in pay rates and benefits of representatives, other than raising the lowest pay permitted by law of laborers in the budget for the next financial year 2021-22.

Provincial Finance Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra disclosed the budget with an absolute cost of Rs1,118 billion in the KP Assembly. He reported that the pay rates of all government representatives with the exception of the individuals who didn’t get special remittances are being expanded to 37%.
The minister additionally reported a 100% expansion in benefits of the widows that were prior 75%. He added that based wages of workers and everyday bets were being expanded to Rs 21,000.
