It is mostly the imagination of every chocolate lover to eat a full tray of chocolate whenever they like. So, if you have the equipment and the time, then you can make your own chocolate at home.


Chocolate is being loved all around the world. It has become an important part of our diet. After having a meal, we want to eat something sweet like chocolate.

Ingredients (Dark Chocolate)

  • ½ cup of cocoa powder
  • ½ cup of coconut oil
  • ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons honey


Step 1: All things should be in a measured quantity as mentioned above.

Step 2: Put your saucepan to the lowest heat and add coconut oil to it. Wait till the coconut oil melt completely.

Step 3: When the oil is melted completely, add honey and vanilla extract in the melted oil. Keep stirring the mixture with a spoon or whisk until you get a mixture like syrup.

Step 4: Now add cocoa powder to the mixture. Don’t add it at once. Use the spoon to distribute the powder throughout the mixture.

Step 5: When you take the mixture out from the heat, keep stirring it until it thickens. When your surface becomes a little glossy and your chocolate is smooth then you need to put the mixture on a non-stick surface. You can put it in small molds.    

Step 6:  Now, put the chocolate in the refrigerator for 1 hour. When the chocolate is a little hard then take it out from the mold. Enjoy!

Milk Chocolate

Like dark chocolate, you require a few ingredients to make homemade milk chocolate and the ingredients are as follows:

  • ¼ cup of Milk powder
  • ¾ cup of Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • ¾ cup of Cocoa butter
  • 1 tsp. of chocolate extract or vanilla


Step 1: Using a saucepan and a mixing bowl, create a double boiler. Fill the saucepan half and put it on medium heat.

Step 2: On top of the saucepan, set the mixing bowl. From underneath, the boiling water will heat the bowl. This will permit you to add all the ingredients without burning them.

Step 3: In the heated butter, add Cocoa butter and let it melt completely. Use a whisk or spoon to melt the butter faster.

Step 4: Now in the melted butter, add cocoa powder. Keep stirring with a whisk or spoon to mix the ingredients.

Step 5: While stirring, add milk powder in the mixture.

Step 6: Add vanilla or chocolate extract and sugar in the mixture to bring flavor to the chocolate. Mix all the ingredients until a silky and smooth product is obtained.

Step 7: Pour the mixture into the ice tray or silicone molds. When the mixture is poured, shake the mold to remove any air bubbles.

Step 8: Place the chocolate In the refrigerator until the chocolate is completely set or for 2 hours. When the chocolate is hard, remove it from the mold and enjoy your chocolate.
