The Zilhaj moon has not been located and Eidul Azha will fall on July 21 (Wednesday), Central Ruet-I-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad declared on Saturday evening.

The declaration was gone before by meetings of the moon-locating advisory group in Karachi and other zonal boards in all provincial capitals of the country. Individuals from the Central Ruet-e-Hilal board and authorities of the Pakistan Meteorological office were additionally present.

The executive said that moon-locating declarations were not gotten from any piece of the nation, adding that the principal day of Zilhaj would fall on July 12 (Monday). Prior, the Meteorological Department had anticipated that the moon would not be located in the country.

There are no odds of the moon being located in Islamabad either, the office said. In May, the Central Ruet-I-Hilal Committee had reported the locating of moon for the period of Shawwal after 11:30pm. The meeting in Islamabad had kept going over four hours.
