A tremor of size 4.4 shocked Islamabad and parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Thursday, as indicated by the National Seismic Monitoring Center. The NSMC said that the quake hit 25 kilometers southeast of Mingora in K-P with a profundity of 20km.
Paris-based quake observing focus EMSC shared on its authority Twitter handle guide of areas where quakes were felt. No reports of setbacks or loss of property have been accounted for up until now.
In April, a tremor, estimating 5.4 on the Richter scale, had shocked Swat, Peshawar, Chitral and different areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. As per the National Seismic Monitoring Center, the profundity of the shake was 169 kilometers with the focal point being the Hindukush mountain range in Afghanistan. A few groups were accounted for to have surged out of their homes in alarm following the quakes.
